Will I lose weight with HIIT?
HIIT BURNS CALORIES! It is proven and that is why people are obsessed with it. The body is placed under good stress needing oxygen. High-intensity training is one of the secrets top athletes utilize when they must maintain a lean physique. If your favorite athlete is utilizing this method I think it’s time you adopt it too.
How often should I do HIIT?
There is no solid answer to this question. One size does not fit all! It depends on your fitness level and goals you are trying to accomplish. The beauty of HIIT is the frequency and intensity can be adjusted to individual/group level. It can be done once daily or twice daily. For starters, once a day for 20 minutes would be ideal and can be built upon. The goal is to be conditioned enough to sustain a longer period of routine without a huge influx in heart rate.
